A government's duty is to meet the needs of the people and the nation. To ensure stability in the country and to build confidence among the people, governance has to be guided by a set of sound principles which are as follows:

To round off this lesson, there will be a brief exercise using the Integrated Resorts as a case study.
One of the examples of the principle of 'Anticipate Change and Stay Relevant' is the building of the Integrated Resorts.
Read your text book (page 36) and this website about the issue of setting up an integrated resort in Singapore.
